I cannot re-call many weapon not having sights.or are you counting melee and unarmed 2. I tried the game with iron sights on, and ultimately decidedly it was better off. Many sights take up huge portions of screen real estate which hurts situational awareness.
There is no way to change the type of sights that a weapon has, so you cannot swap out your long range peep sight for a close range notch and post setup.
